All in all, I think the new episode isn’t as bad as I like to think it is. But still, a good reminder on why I need to try and not get sick. The episode itself didn’t seem bad, but something seemed to be a bit off. However, I did try something new for Kat to do and overall I’m happy with it.
That being said, been hard to get much of any progress done on anything; nothing new when I get sick. So I can see my Dark Souls 1 skit coming out by the end of this month, but just gotta go with the flow. And as I was trying to write everything out, I realized that I can only do that for some of it or it won’t come out as natural. So it’s probably going to be like Kat & Hueman where it takes me far longer to decide how to do the 1st episode than it does any other episode. Still, I just need to remember to have fun with it and stop treating it like it’s work.
More and more I realize that I’m not in a good position to get my voices done and I feel like that’s what’s really hurting me. The last few episodes, my mom has been around, so it feels awkward to do my voices and I feel like it hurts the voice acting part. Then I only have so much time to do voices without disturbing other family members; somedays that’s impossible to do. So my only guess is to get up around 4-5am and that gives me at least 2-3 hours before someone gets up.
Apparently Nintendo has been wild with the ban-hammer with their music. I’ve been paranoid about using any video game music and seems it was the right move. In fact, kinda surprised The Kat Walk hasn’t been taken down since I used like 20-25 seconds of Pokemon music. However, I do think I need to use a lot more video game sound effects.
Kat & Hueman is still lacking from exposure as a whole. It reaches like 10 people. So hopefully a new skit will help. As of right now, I’m worried about getting enough content out there and at a consistency.
